Two years of intensive killing and Torturing and Thirty years of denying
It has been two years since the wicked intension of finishing the Nubian. It has been two years of persistence use of the heavy weapons and indiscriminate attacks of Sudanese government to kill and dispersed those from South Kordofan. It has been thirty years since we ask for our integrity, our basic human rights. It has been a long journey of hiding in caves and eating nothing, but dry unhealthy food for some human beings. It is an experience that some will never forget and move on without a dedicated counsellors to cure them from their nightmares. Innocent people have been watching unbelievable scenes of slaughtering, cutting into two, cutting into pieces. Some of those civilians have no options, but to gather those pieces, bury them and show their final respect. No doubt the majority is frightened from the unknown to approach their kids, themselves, their husbands and their relatives. At this moment, it will be of a tremendous value to draw attention to two actions played by SPLM-N leaders. First, the withdrawn from Abu kershola to protect the civilians from the unkind punishment of the government of Sudan. The second, is the respond of SPLM-N to the invitation by the president Mbeki to resume the negotiations with Sudan government in Addis Ababa in June, 6, 2013. Unfortunately General Omer Al Bashir refused to negotiate with SPLM-N, as well as SRF Organization. In the last three months alone, 24 children had been killed in only one area, South Kordofan, and many more in other areas of conflict (Blue Nile and Darfur). More than 700 people were tortured, some of those were sentenced to death. More than 700,000 fled to Yida in South Sudan. The number of refugees might have already risen to 100,000 in May according to the UN anticipation. president Omer Al Bashir declared to chase nuba people from mountain to mountain. What about the command from his follower Ahmed Haroun to kill them and not to bring any as no enough space for them. His action lead to death, torture, disease, hunger, insecurity, not only within the designated areas (Blue Nile, Darfur and South Kordofan), but the humanitarian situations got worst over all other areas of Sudan, including arresting students and innocent people in Khartoum and other areas based on their ethnic background. In South Kordofan the threat of dying from hunger is equal to dying from indiscriminate attacks. They cannot use their land to plant what they can eat. Not to mention Education and Immunization. – We are asking and urging the UN Security Council and African Union to cease the indiscriminate attacks and bring more pressure on the Sudanese authorities to stop the humanitarian conditions from getting worst. What is happening in South Kordofan needs to be shown to the International community. Nubian people like others in Blue Nile and Darfur need their voice to be heard. After all, let’s not forget president Omer Al Bashir is wanted by ICC, however he is wondering around claiming that he is innocent from all the brutal killing, torture, arrest, hunger and much more. We ask the authorities to bring the peace and the smile to those nations. Your actions towards these sensitive matters are appreciated.
